Texture services have made a strong comeback across both hairdressing and barbering, with clients looking for everything from soft movement to modern curls and effortless volume.

Join us for a practical, hands-on workshop where you'll build confidence with the foundations of modern perming and develop skills you can confidently take back into the salon.

Whether you're preparing for assessments, introducing texture services for the first time or refreshing your existing skills, this workshop has been designed to help you understand the "why" behind every stage of the perming process.

Whether you're a Year 3 apprentice preparing for assessments, an apprentice wanting greater confidence, a barber introducing texture services, a qualified stylist refreshing your perming skills, a salon owner investing in your team, or a hairdresser working from home, this workshop has been designed to meet you where you are.

What to Expect

Together we'll explore the complete perming process, from consultation and hair analysis through to winding, processing, neutralising and evaluating the finished result.

You'll build confidence with classic winding techniques before progressing to brick winding as your confidence develops throughout the day.

You'll also gain a better understanding of consultation, contraindications, product selection and the small details that contribute to consistent, predictable perming results.

Unlike many practical workshops, you'll work alongside your educator through a carefully guided learning process, giving you time to ask questions, refine your technique and build confidence as you progress.

Training is completed on a quality real hair mannequin. Bring your own, or purchase one from SalonED at cost.
