Foiling remains one of the most valuable colour skills a stylist can develop. Whether your goal is beautiful blondes, dimensional brunettes or seamless colour placement, strong foiling techniques create the foundation for so many salon services.

Foundation Foiling Lab has been designed to give new and developing colourists the confidence to build clean, consistent foiling techniques from the very beginning.

Whether you're learning foils for the first time or rebuilding your confidence, you'll develop strong foundations that you can continue building on throughout your career behind the chair.

Foundation Foiling Lab is perfect for anyone wanting to build strong foiling foundations in a supportive, hands on learning environment.

Whether you're a new apprentice, an emerging stylist, a barber expanding into colour services, returning to the salon after time away, rebuilding your confidence, a qualified hairdresser wanting to refresh your foundations, a salon owner investing in your team, or a hairdresser working from home, this workshop has been designed to meet you where you are.

If you've ever thought, "I just need someone to show me the fundamentals properly," we've got you.

What to Expect

We'll begin with a practical colour theory refresher before exploring consultation, formulation and the foundations behind successful foil placement.

Together we'll build confidence with clean sectioning, slice and weave techniques, foil folding, placement, face framing and creating consistent, predictable results behind the chair.
You'll work alongside your educator through a carefully guided learning process, giving you time to ask questions, refine your technique and build confidence as you progress.

Training is completed on a mannequin, allowing you to focus on technique in a supportive learning environment. A quality real hair mannequin is provided for each learner.
