Every great blonde starts with strong foundations.

Foiling remains one of the most valuable colour skills a stylist can develop, yet many learners struggle with consistency, placement and confidence when first learning the technique.

This practical workshop is designed to build strong foundational foiling skills, helping participants understand the principles behind clean sectioning, accurate placement and professional foil application.

The day begins with a practical colour theory refresher, helping learners better understand lift, underlying pigment, formulation and toner selection before moving into foiling techniques and application.

By understanding not only how to place foils, but why certain placement strategies create specific results, participants leave with greater confidence approaching colour services in the salon.

Perfect for apprentices, emerging stylists, barbers and anyone wanting to strengthen their colour foundations.

Mannequin Information

This workshop is completed on a mannequin, allowing participants the opportunity to focus on technique development in a supportive learning environment.

Participants may:
• Bring their own quality mannequin with human hair, or
• Purchase a SalonED recommended mannequin at cost prior to the workshop

Please note that synthetic mannequins are not suitable for colour services.
