Structure. Control. Confidence.
Great cutting starts with understanding shape.
Solid form and increased layers are two of the most important cutting structures used throughout hairdressing, providing the foundation for everything from classic one length shapes through to longer layered haircuts.
This practical workshop focuses on helping learners understand how shape, weight and elevation influence the finished result, building confidence through strong technical foundations and hands-on practice.
Designed to support both apprentices and emerging stylists, this workshop develops the understanding and control needed to create balanced, predictable cutting outcomes in the salon.
Whether you're preparing for assessments, strengthening your fundamentals or looking to better understand the structure behind modern haircuts, this workshop provides practical coaching in a supportive salon environment.
We work alongside current industry training pathways while supporting hairdressers wanting to build confidence in the cutting skills that underpin many salon services.
