Join us for a practical, hands on workshop where you'll learn three versatile balayage techniques that you can confidently take straight back into the salon:

Built around popular hybrid colour system, Echosline, the techniques taught can be adapted across a wide range of professional colour brands, making them easy to use in any salon environment.

What to Expect

We'll begin with a practical colour theory and toning refresher, then interactive demonstrations and guided discussions around balayage placement, formulation and commercial application.

After lunch, you'll put everything into practice during a hands on workshop with individual coaching, technique correction and personalised feedback throughout the afternoon.

Bring a live model for the afternoon practical session if you can. If that's not possible, quality real hair mannequins are available to purchase from SalonED at cost. Already have one? Bring it along!

Hybrid Balayage Lab is delivered by the SalonED Education Team together with multi award winning guest creative stylist, Ceahna Keen from Ponsonby's Kokomo Haircutters.

Together, our team combines real salon experience, professional education and personalised coaching to create a supportive learning environment where every learner is encouraged to ask questions, build confidence and keep growing.

Throughout my career, I've heard the same thing time and time again - Northland often misses out on professional hairdressing education. I have also experienced that myself.

I've always hoped that one day I could help change that.

Bringing SalonED to Whangārei, has been part of my vision from the very beginning, because I believe passionate hairdressers shouldn't have to travel to Auckland every time they want to grow their skills.

That's why I'm genuinely excited to be planning our very first workshop in Northland.
